Pépite collection: The tester round-up
Today we will talk about the lovely versions of the new patterns Papao, Patsy and Pekka made by our pattern testers; 10 sewists from size 40 to 58 went over the Pépite collection with a fine-toothed comb during two weeks.
A pattern tester has a key role in the developement of a new pattern:
Pattern testers get the up coming pattern for free in exchange of a precise feedback on the construction, fit and instructions. I listen attentively to all of the feedbacks I receive and I work again to improve the complete package.

Size: 51 for Papao and 53 for Patsy (Margaux started the tests with the pattern Patsy and was afraid the size 51 suggested by the size chart will be too tight for her so she went for the 53 and then realized 51 was the right size for her)

Quel est votre taille de bonnet ?
Vous pouvez teindre avant ou après, avant si la teinture nécessite un bian très chaud ou bien si elle est réalisée à partir de plantes qui pourraient se faufiler entre la parmenture et le vêtement, après si c'est une teinture chimique qui ne necessite pas un bain très chaud. Si vous choisissez de teindre après, pensez à utiliser un fil de coton (pas de synthétique) ou bien un fil proche de votre couleur après teinture. Bonne journée, Raphaëlle
Votre collection pépite me fait très envie. J'ai 2 questions:
je fais un 40, 42 en bas et un 46 en haut, pour Patsy il va falloir que je grade entre les tailles ou ma poitrine va passer sans que le tissus en haut fasse trop riquiqui?
J'ai récupéré plein de toile à drap en métis, je teins avant ou après avoir cousu???
