The tenth letter: The Evolution of My Creative Sanctuary!

list In Articles On

Dear readers,

I hope this message finds you well. I am thrilled to write to you today to share some exciting news: I have found a new workshop nestled in the serene landscapes of Cantal (France), an old school in a quiet hamlet.

Currently undergoing renovations both inside and out, this space will soon become a hub where my new patterns will come to life. This workshop, still in the making, already represents a dream in the making for me. It will allow me to fulfill a project that has been close to my heart for a long time: organizing retreats and workshops dedicated to pattern-making, fitting, and sewing. It's an incredible opportunity to share my knowledge and create an environment conducive to creativity.

To give you a glimpse of my journey, let me remind you of my humble beginnings. My first workshop was a simple alcove in my living room in Lyon, barely 4m2, but it was filled with dreams and promises. From there, I moved to a 15m2 loft above my living room in my house in Vaucluse, then to a workshop outside my house in an old building dating back to 1820. My fourth and current creative space is a small room lent by the town hall in my village in Cantal, and now, this new workshop, this sanctuary of nearly 70m2 in the old village school, will be our shared playground.

I will keep you informed about the progress of the renovations and the official opening dates of my new workshop; I anticipate the project will come to life by late 2024 or early 2025. In the meantime, I invite you to follow this exciting journey on my social media. There, I will share photos and regular updates on the workshop's progress.

I am deeply grateful for your ongoing support. Your enthusiasm and participation are essential in turning this project into a reality. I look forward to welcoming you to this new space and sharing moments of inspiration and creativity with you.

With heartfelt gratitude,
Raphaëlle
