Couturière, the T-shirt
It's been a long time now since I made this T-shirt. You've porbably seen it on my previous collection under the trench Jack and the blazer Joe. The T-shirt pattern Jeanne was released only a few days ago. I've been waiting to show you this also because I wasn't shure about what I wanted to do with it. At first, I wanted to produce this "couturière" T because I new you would like it but then I realised I had not much time to work on this. But I still keep this idea in mind and while I'm strugguling with whether I'm going to produce this T or not, YOU will be able to download the logo for free to make your own couturière T. Also, isn't buying a T-shirt with "couturière" (maker, seamstress) written on it a bit a shame? Because you are a "couturière" you are able to sew and print your own Jeanne, don't you think?
It took me some time to design this logo. It seems really basic but I actually spend some time finding the right typo (free of copyright), the right size and the right red. The typo in a T-shirt like that is really important, this one is simple and elegant and inspires me the french Haute couture. You can direclty download the logo using the link above and print it on a A4 format. The logo placement is really important it shouln't be too high or too low. Just a little above the breast is a good placement.
Use the #couturierereadytosew on instagram or tag my name on the picture. You can also send me a photo of your T-shirt. And if you want to please me use the pattern Jeanne to make it! It's a great basic T.
