Hi Rebecca,
The back skirt/pants for the overalls view is curved at the side and it needs an invisible zipper at the back.
The back skirt for the overalls view is not cut on fold but x2.
You don't need to serge the top (waistline) of the skirt/pants as this raw edge will be inside the waistband.
The skirt/pants are gathered in all views for the Jazz sewing pattern. This will allow the bottom part (pants or skirt) to match the bib.
Regards,
Raphaëlle

Sorry, I see now that the part that goes in for the front skirt is to accomodate the pocket. Just to clarify, I need to cut one front skirt piece on the fold, and two back skirt pieces on the fold, right?

Hi, I am a little confused about how to assemble the skirt. I noticed that the front skirt goes in a little at the sides, which is not reflected in the skirt assembly pictures. Could you give a little more guidance about how to assemble it? Do we also gather the waist of the skirt? In the beginning, do we only serge the top edge of the back skirt? Do we have to cut the skirt to allow for a zipper opening?
