Built to last !

The smock, an indispensable staple for sailors, is defined by the historic needs of the job. Originally, sailors would make their smocks from old sails of their boats, a very durable fabric. They would be protected from the wind and the cold, whether they were at sea or back at port. The split collar of Paulin is closed by one single button and can be raised to protect from a strong wind. The two patch pockets are perfect for budding youngsters to keep their hands warm and for hiding a multitude of treasures.  With a loose fit, the pattern retains an authentic silhouette.

By making Paulin, you are not only sewing for your children, but for your grandchildren and great-grandchildren because this work jacket can be passed on from generation to generation.
